Bodywork
Holding on is believing there's only a past. Letting go is knowing there's a future.
-Daphne Rose Kingma
Bodywork focuses on relaxing a person’s body, mind and spirit,
allowing for emotional release, mental clarity, a sense of expansive presence and a lightness in the body.
The feelings associated with stress and anxiety for extended periods
of time often translate into physical manifestations.
Bodywork is beneficial for clients who are looking
for a way to enhance their emotional well-being,
and it is part of a larger holistic philosophy.
Bodywork is designed to systemically engage
the somatic patterns, emotional or traumatic memories
stored in our tissues from postural & behavioral adaptations
and facilitates the release of those energetic and physical constraints,
as well as loosening dense muscle tissue
and enhancing well being.

Trauma looks different for everyone; it includes any event or series of events
that are harmful or that a person perceives as threatening.
The emotional response to the event is a key indicator of trauma
whether it happens immediately,
or presents itself long after the situation ends.
